Vision In Sliver: Post Three
As tension rises between humans and the others I think they should stop working together. The HFL movement isn't a just cause, but the idea of separation between both populations might be. The hate for how each other acts is always a underlying tone throughout this novel. Lizzy says "Is Miss Meg going to die because I was bad?" (Page 257). Each party causes problems that puts everyone at risk and problems that seem to shut down the community until the problem is solved. As I continued to read I wasn't surprised when fights started to happen I was just waiting until it all boiled over. I am still very interested to see how the others plan to rid the world of humans if that is even possible. The effort in keeping the peace must be a strain on all those forced to pick a side. A very cool piece while reading this section was seeing the togetherness of the Wolfgard seeing them act as a family rather than a population is very special. Humans seem to lack empathy for their own generally, only in tough times do we see this. As I continue to read I look forward to seeing more action and a resolution in this war. Meg and Simon are characters I will watch closely because on their bond. Meg could also, become increasingly stressed out which I hope will not make her cut because she as made tons of progress. I am concerned they might make her cut in order to see a glimpse of what could happen.
I agree with you as well and I think that the humans and the others should stop working together as well. They despite each other even if they don't want to show it sometimes. I think that the two vast different parties have so much going on that's not alike from one another so it's hard for them to understand each other. I think that the tension has been progressing though out the novel ever since they started working together. I also would like to see more action and thriving as I read along as well.
